Advancing Corporate Sustainability practices: three-day workshop for our Portfolio Companies
In November 2025, we concluded our workshop series organized in collaboration with Politecnico di Milano.
The initiative provided 16 hours of training to the CEOs, CFOs, and ESG representatives of the portfolio companies, as well as to the investment team of MCP, with the objective of strengthening the integration of ESG principles into both management and investment processes.
For portfolio companies, the program supported the development of the managerial skills needed to embed sustainability into strategic and operational decisions. For the investment team, it enhanced the capacity to assess and guide ESG performance, ensuring alignment on long-term value creation objectives.
Matteo Sessi, Managing Partner at MCP said: “As Partner and CFO, I believe that ESG education is not just about raising awareness, it is a practical and effective way to strengthen our teams’ capabilities and equip our Portfolio Companies with the tools needed to integrate sustainability into everyday business decisions”
The sessions covered key themes such as corporate purpose and governance, ESG reporting as a tool for transparency and accountability, climate risk management, GHG accounting and regulatory updates including the SFDR and the Omnibus package.
Beyond its educational dimension, the initiative represented a valuable moment of networking and engagement, fostering open dialogue, the exchange of best practices, and a stronger ESG culture across the investment ecosystem.
This collaboration with Politecnico di Milano reflects a concrete commitment to continuous learning and to advancing ESG integration as a driver of sustainable growth.
