Alberto Forchielli is one of the founders of MCP, Senior Partner and member of the Advisory Committee.

Alberto has over forty years of managerial experience in international business development, with particular focus on Southeast Asia, the United States and China.  Alberto supports the MCP team in defining the strategic direction of the investment activity. For most of the year Alberto is based in Boston and supports the North American development of portfolio companies, through his wide network of relationships in the US.

Before founding MCP, Alberto was Secretary General for Privatization at IRI, worked for the World Bank, first in Washington DC, then transferred to the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, and was responsible for the Asia/Pacific area of Finmeccanica. His career started in Boston (USA) at the MAC Group/Gemini Consulting, before becoming founder and director of the Italian branch. He has also been member of the Advisory Board of CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) in Shanghai. Alberto graduated cum laude at the University of Bologna and holds an MBA with honours from Harvard Business School.
